Accompany the children at amusement parks, while 'tweens and teens will want to explore hiking trails, swimming holes, zipline tours and mountain caves. Weirs Beach, on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee has lots of teenager-friendly attractions including swimming, arcades, cool clothing and jewelry shops, and waterslides. The boardwalk at Hampton Beach features free concerts every night beginning Memorial Day weekend, with fireworks on Wednesday evenings. New Hampshire is the place for any gathering, from a girl's getaway to a guys-only retreat, and everything in between. Call your girlfriends and offer them a weekend of tax-free shopping, spa treatments, fabulous food, and vibrant nightlife. Walk our downtowns and explore historic sites and unique museums. The guys can take advantage of some male bonding at our challenging Donald Ross-designed golf courses, or spend a night out cheering on the Fisher Cats, New Hampshire's own professional baseball team. Plan a canoe trip down the Saco River or stay in an Appalachian Club hut as you hike Mount Washington. Visitors will want to check out the many race tracks in the Granite State, including the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where everyone can get their NASCAR fix.
The Granite State welcomes military reunions, clubs, motorcoach tours, and those seeking venues for retreats. There's something about New Hampshire's natural scenery that makes it a perfect location for getaways and vacations. The Granite State offers seacoast, mountains, lakes and forests - reach your peak on a group hike, or plan a rock climbing expedition on one of our granite ledges.
Whether you're a family reuniting, a group of friends looking for an escape or part of a group with a special interest or history together, New Hampshire is the perfect destination for your summer getaway.
